Velora began in 2024 with a frustration every woman knows. The night matters, the dress options do not. Fast fashion pieces that fall apart by midnight, or designer prices for something three other people are wearing at the same event.

We believed there was another way. Dresses made the slow way, by hand, one at a time, for the person actually wearing them.

So Velora was built from Auckland around a single promise. Every piece is made to order, hand beaded and hand finished with pearls and crystal detail, crafted stitch by stitch after you order it. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Nothing is mass produced. Your dress takes a few weeks to reach you because it did not exist until you asked for it, and no two are ever exactly alike.

We keep our runs small and choose styles we would wear ourselves. Dresses for birthdays, graduations, weddings, and the nights that become stories. We will even craft your piece to your exact measurements, email velora.nz.info@gmail.com before ordering and we will make it yours.

Velora is still small, still independent, and still checks every dress by hand before it leaves Auckland. That is the whole point.
